Disney Cruise Line Castaway Club members can book a Disney Treasure cruise as early as September 12, 2023 when tired booking begins for Pearl Members, with general booking open to all on September 20, 2023. But don't despair if that's out of range, as there are much less expensive ways to sail on Disney Treasure — though with only weeklong cruises on offer, there are no bargain basement prices to be found. Outside of the maiden voyages, Disney Treasure inside-cabin fares start at $3,845 for double occupancy or $6,271 for a family of four. Verandah cabins start at close to $8,000 for a family, and concierge cabins start around $15,000.

Passengers are welcomed into the Aladdin-themed Grand Hall upon embarkation, where Mickey Mouse and various Disney princesses are often milling about under a massive golden chandelier. Disney Cruise Line is known for its evening rotational dining dinner service, a Disney Cruise staple since 1998, in which guests and their service staff travel through three distinct dining experiences throughout a voyage. "This is a truly immersive experience. You actually get to dine with Miguel and his family through musical extravaganza—it's going to be a lot of fun," said Daniel Cowen, a senior manager overseeing dining standards and service excellence.

New Dining Experiences Inspired By Walt Disney Animation Studios And Pixar

This exciting update means we are one step closer to the day when the Disney Treasure will transport guests to beautiful destinations and explore the globe. While the Disney Treasure will have some things in common with its sister ship, the Disney Wish, Sharon Siskie, the senior vice president and general manager of Disney Cruise Line, shared the Disney Treasure will bring new stories to life and present a one-of-a-kind adventure for guests. Here’s what you need to know to determine whether this is the ship for your next Disney Cruise Line vacation. Children will enter the captivating worlds of favorite Disney stories in the Disney’s Oceaneer Club, a wonderland of immersive spaces specially designed to encourage exploration and discovery. Senses Spa is a tranquil oasis offering indulgent spa and beauty treatments, drawing on the serenity of natural elements to promote pampering and relaxation. The spa will feature private treatment rooms, lavish spa villas, and steam and aromatherapy rooms, while the reimagined Senses Fitness will offer state-of-the-art exercise and wellness facilities.

While its Tower Suite was themed to "Moana," Disney Treasure's version will be inspired by Epcot and feature a futuristic design. In December 2024, the curtain will open on a brand-new original Broadway-style production on the Disney Treasure. The show will follow Moana as she embarks on an incredible journey to save her island after she is chosen by the ocean to restore the heart of Te Fiti. Fans of the original film will recognize many beloved characters like Gramma Tala, Maui and Tamatoa when they appear on stage, as well as songs from the film’s iconic soundtrack. Then there’s the Tomorrow Tower Suite, a one-of-a-kind suite that is in the ship’s forward tunnel.

When will Disney Treasure set sail?

This ship’s ride is centered around a brand-new storyline for Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse as they search for treasure in an ancient temple. The two-person ride vehicles carry guests from the upper decks through 760 feet of winding tubes. No specifics were provided as to the substance of the suite that’ll be pulled from the park, so it sounds probably more like it’ll be a vibe. Our expectation is that it’ll feature modern style, and maybe some geodesic patterns here or there. Hopefully there’s more to it than that, but I don’t think we can expect to see Figment or nods to Horizons–this is a super expensive suite that needs to appeal to affluent cruisers with zero knowledge of the parks.

The suite was inspired the Walt Disney World Resort theme park, EPCOT and its World Discovery neighborhood. It overlooks the top deck of the Disney Treasure, and guests staying in these ultra-luxurious accommodations can enjoy views of the open horizon through its two-story window. The worlds of Disney and Pixar will come to life for guess with two new entertainment-rich eateries. Plaza de Coco provides a theatrical dining experience themed to the beloved movie “Coco”. Guests will sit at tables that surround a stage where they can watch performances and show effects, and they will enjoy two completely dinner dining experiences here during their cruise. Like all Disney Cruise Line restaurants, they will happily accommodate vegans, vegetarians, gluten-free diners, and those with other dietary needs.

As the Disney Treasure takes form, this moment marks the first time that the iconic silhouette of the ship can be recognized. As with all ships in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, the Disney Treasure takes its inspiration from classic ocean liners of the early 20th century with a modern flair. With today’s installment of the bridge block, the Disney Treasure now has everything it needs to sail through waterways around the world. The bridge block contains important navigational equipment for the ship, including the wheel! The future captain and their crew will be able to control the ship’s direction and speed from an onboard command center that looks out towards the horizon with floor to ceiling windows.

Imagineers will place a special sculpture at the base of the Tomorrow Tower Suite’s spiral staircase that honors the iconic EPCOT landmark, Spaceship Earth. The sculpture will bring the spirit of EPCOT to life when guests enter the suite through music and lighting effects. Families will discover seven pools staggered among tiered decks, an abundance of luxe lounge chairs, an imaginative take on fast-casual fare with a festive character twist and a thrilling water attraction, AquaMouse, in an expansive district themed to Mickey and friends. Family fun is plentiful in Hero Zone, a progressive sports and recreation venue, on deck 12 aft. Hero Zone offers a space where physical activity blends with imagination where guests will “go the distance” during action-packed physical challenges and game show-style competitions for families to play together. On the second night, Miguel will reunite with his great-great grandparents, Hector and Mama Imelda, by transporting them to Santa Cecilia with the help of his magic guitar for a Día de los Muetos celebration.

Teenagers sailing on the Disney Treasure will have their own dedicated club called Vibe, a stylish space inspired by a French artists’ loft with classic architecture, vibrant neon signs and funk pop art, including a selfie-worthy Mickey Mouse statue. Aboard the Disney Treasure, children will embark on Disney adventures of their own with dedicated spaces and interactive programming for every age group – infants and toddlers, children, tweens and teens. Marceline Market will return offering guests an ever-changing menu along with ocean views from both indoor and outdoor seating. Named for Walt Disney’s early childhood hometown in Missouri, Marceline Market will be a stylish food hall aboard the Disney Treasure inspired by popular marketplaces from around the world. From bunnies and elephants to sloths and foxes, all are welcome to indulge in more than 20 flavors of handmade gelato, 16 flavors of ice cream and sorbets, specialty treats, candies and more. On the first night, the story of Miguel and his familia will continue where it left off on screen as they gather in Mariachi Plaza to take guests on a colorful, music-filled journey that celebrates family memories and togetherness.

Expertly developed programming combines physical play and age-appropriate technology to create deeply engaging, enriching experiences led by a team of Disney-trained counselors. Disney’s Oceaneer Club onboard the Disney Treasure will feature a familiar mix of dedicated spaces based on Imagineering, Star Wars, Marvel, Mickey & Friends, as well as Princesses for guests ranging in age from 3-12. This theater-in-the-round entertainment venue will feature dining tables surrounding a central stage, with performances and show effects that will spread throughout the room. Guests will enjoy two different nights of unique dining experiences at Plaza de Coco during their voyage. Other adult favorite dining such as The Rose, Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement will offer amazing views and gourmet meals.

“We're taking our guests to beautiful real places, but also fantastical stories that we're bringing to life on the Disney Treasure,” Pam Rawlins, executive producer of Walt Disney Imagineering in Florida, said during a media preview. Beloved by generations of Disney Parks goers, Figment is the adorable purple dragon who first debuted at the Journey Into Imagination attraction at EPCOT at Walt Disney World. In the Tomorrow Tower Suite, guests will encounter Figment posing in various hiding places. Jade Cricket Café, inspired by the classic Disney film “Mulan,” will honor the Fa Family’s “lucky” cricket, Cri-Kee, who will be represented by a jade sculpture on the bar top.

In addition to watching the latest sports games, explorers at the Periscope Pub will encounter a menu of craft brews and light bites. This 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea-inspired pub replaces Keg & Compass, which is a nice and underrated venue–this is the perfect thematic fit for it. In an expansive district themed to Mickey and friends, families will discover seven pools staggered among tiered decks, an abundance of luxe lounge chairs, an imaginative take on fast-casual fare with a festive character twist and Disney Cruise Line’s own attraction at sea, AquaMouse. Surrounded by both the open ocean and sky, the adventures will continue on the upper decks of the Disney Treasure with three distinct districts offering fun water activities, quick and casual dining options and plenty of space to relax and soak up the sun. Hero Zone and the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas, popular spaces from the Disney Wish, will provide family entertainment aboard the Disney Treasure. The third, all-new production for the Disney Treasure is “The Tale of Moana,” featuring set design and music with elements of Pacific Islands culture that inspires the classic coming-of-age tale.

On Disney Treasure, one restaurant will be new to the fleet and two will return from Disney Wish, but with a slightly different spin. For an even more luxurious experience, the Disney Treasure has four royal suites that were inspired by beloved Disney cat characters from movies such as “The Jungle Book” And “Aladdin”. Those who are planning a luxury cruise will appreciate the concierge-level staterooms and suites. Guests staying there can hang out in an exclusive concierge lounge that has its own private sun deck where they will be served refreshments throughout the day. The concierge-level suites feature design and décor inspired by the interiors inspired by “The Lion King”.

And rounding up the dining offerings is the Zootopia-themed Jumbeaux’s Sweets, where 20 flavors of house-made gelato and specialty treats abound. A new Broadway-style show called "Disney The Tale of Moana" will debut aboard the Disney Treasure, the cruise line unveiled in October. It joins existing “Beauty and the Beast” and “Disney Seas the Adventure" productions as part of the ship's entertainment offerings. The staterooms on board are built with families in mind and feature upscale amenities.
